Gene and Nancy Garvin of Muscatine will note their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and card shower.
Nancy Bryant and Gene Garvin were united in marriage on Aug. 30, 1958 in Muscatine. Rev. A.A. Buntenbach officiated the ceremony. Donna Garvin served as the maid of honor and Richard Garvin served as the best man.
Gene and Nancy are the parents of Karla (Paul) Howard of Muscatine, Julie (Kevin) Bohnsack of Wilton and Cory (Michelle) Garvin of Wilton.
They have eight grandchildren: Andrea Bohnsack, Lindsey (Carlos) Howard, Taelor (Christine) Bohnsack, Courtney Howard and Chase, Josh, Ben and Ting Garvin.
