Busch-Hunter vows said Aug. 19 in Bondurant

Karlie Busch of Jewell and Isaac Hunter of Ames were united in marriage on Aug. 19 at Irishman Acres, Bondurant. Dan Schoepf officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

Kenzie Thomas served as matron of honor. Kennedy Cook, Sydney Friest, Katie Henricksen, Marilee Hovis and Mia Knapp were bridesmaids. The bride’s personal attendants were Rachel Hunter, Hannah Cline and Allison Meyer.

Joshua Hunter served as best man. Zach Getting, Blake Gregory, Carson Meyer, Andrew Gatto and Karter McNutt were groomsmen. The ushers were Austin Busch, Aaron Willis and Jacob MacVey.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Irishman Acres.

Karlie is the daughter of Kristi Busch of Jewell, and Rich Busch of Blue Grass. She graduated from South Hamilton High School in 2019, and from Iowa State University on 2022, with a bachelor of science degree in therapeutic recreation. She is employed by the Iowa Sports Foundation, Ames.

Isaac is the son of Jake and Jenny Hunter of Wilton. He graduated from Wilton Jr./Sr. High School in 2019, and from Iowa State University in 2023, with a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering. He is employed by On Track Construction, Nevada.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, the couple resides in Story City.
