Vera E. Sessler, 101, of Wilton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at the Wilton Retirement Community. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at the church.  Burial will take place in Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. Christi L. Heath, 47, of Wilton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, after a brief illness at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Gordon Lowell Arnold, age 80, of Wilton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospital. A visitation was held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 2, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wilton. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the church.  Burial will take place in Oakdale Cemetery. The Wilton FFA plans to start their annual fruit sale promotion with a “sales blitz kick-off” on Monday, Oct. 9, from 6 - 8 p.m.  The organization will be sending students out across the Wilton and Durant school districts in small groups to get a few orders to get sales kicked off, according to FFA advisor Joshua Day.  more
