The route for 2019 (Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) RAGBRAI XLVII has been released. The ride will be July 21-27. It will be a southern route across the state with overnight towns including Council Bluffs, Atlantic, Winterset, Indianola, Centerville, Fairfield, Burlington and Keokuk.
The ride will be 427 total miles, the sixth shortest in history. It will feature 14,735 feet of climb, the eighth flattest in history. It’s deemed the eighth easiest route in history.
