Wilmott-Stutting vows exchanged

Halle Lorraine Wilmott of Eldridge and Daniel Robert Stutting of Princeton were united in marriage on Aug. 4, 2018, at the Secrest 1883 Octagonal Barn in West Liberty. Kevin Knoer officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

Megan Wilmott served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Maggie Finnegan, Abby Gainer, Madi Peck, Olivia Freese, Kelly Schultz, Allie Stutting, Grace Stutting, and Emily Stutting. Jensen Blair was flower girl.

Ben Stutting served as best man. Groomsmen were Bill Young, Austin Bowman, Ryan Renken, Rhedt Roelandt, Dawson Stutting, Eric Petersen, Matt Chaote, and Tim Stutting. Bobby Hundley was ring bearer.

Ushers were Dylan Hundley, Nate Rosfjord, Tyler Renken, Jacob Hundley, Josie Thomas, Ashley Schmidt, and Lindsay Robinson.

Music for the ceremony was provided by cellist Caleb Fruhling, guitarist Bill Young, and vocalist Maggie Finnegan.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Secrest 1883 Octagonal Barn in West Liberty.

Halle is the daughter of Donn and Heidi Wilmott of Eldridge, and the granddaughter of Joan Hauserman and Germaine Wilmott. She graduated from North Scott High School in 2015, and will graduate from the University of Iowa in May of 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dan is the son of Kevin and Paula Stutting of Princeton, and the grandson of Bob and Sharon Hundley, Diane Stutting, and Tom Stutting. He graduated from North Scott High School in 2015, and will graduate from the University of Iowa in May of 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in education. He is employed by the Cambus.

The couple will take a honeymoon trip to Peru during their winter break. They reside in Iowa City.
