Larry was a sheet metal journeyman with Gabrilson Heating & Air Conditioning for 36 years before retiring in 2004. He then worked in the maintenance department at the Handicapped Development Center for 12 years until he retired in 2017.

Terry was a paraeducator at Washington Elementary School in the Davenport School District for 32 years, and retired in 2010.

Their children are Michelle (Andrew) Diehm of Papillion, Neb., and Wendy (Brian) Peterson of Eldridge. Their grandchildren are Rachel Diehm, and Grant and Charlie Peterson.

Terry and Larry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a small gathering of family and friends at the Long Grove Community Center on Sept. 16.

With much love and gratitude, their daughters would like to congratulate them on this amazing milestone. We feel truly blessed and lucky to have you both as our parents. You have set a beautiful example of what true love and commitment should be, and we love you with all of our hearts.
