Sales tax holiday on clothes, footwear Aug. 3-4

The annual Iowa Sales Tax Holiday will be Aug. 3-4. During this time, no sales tax will be collected on select clothing or footwear with a selling price of less than $100 per item. All businesses open on Aug.  3 and 4 are required to participate, though the holiday does not extend to Sunday.
