Elwood “Lee” and Florence M. (Bouchaute) Reedy will be observing their 70th wedding anniversary with a family celebration. The couple was married on April 2, 1949, at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Mr. Reedy retired in 1994 from Alter & Son, Davenport, and Mrs. Reedy retired in 1997 from Eastern Iowa Community College.
They are the parents of three sons: Curtis (Bree) Reedy of Boone, Iowa, Kent (Valorie) Reedy of Dixon, and Chris (Carrie) Reedy of Green Cove Springs, Fla. They also have two grandsons, Kyle and Collin.
