Woodeane B. Podkulski, 81, of Eldridge, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at Clarissa C Cook Hospice House. Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 3, at Weerts Funeral Home. Woodeane was born on July 30, 1938, in Chicago to Frank J. and Beth D. (Fullerton) Miller. She was united in marriage to Ronald Podkulski, he later preceded her in death. Woodeane worked as a secretary, retiring from Palmer College in 2010.
Woodeane was an avid dog lover. She also enjoyed dancing and playing pool. She had a musical gift of playing the organ. Woodeane was the life of the party and a wonderful entertainer, she will be missed by her family.
Survivors include her brother, Cy Miller of Eldridge; nephews and niece: Cy (Stacey) Miller, Neal (Sandy) Miller, Teddy Miller, Barry Miller and Dawn Kohlscheen; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Keith and Francis; one niece, Gayle.
