A funeral service for Winifred “Winnie” Boettcher, 90, of Davenport, was held at noon on Monday, Oct. 28, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park.
Mrs. Boettcher died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019.
Winifred Wade was born June 16, 1929, in Tipton, the daughter of William and Dora (Eiselstein) Wade.
She worked for 32 years at the former Timmerman Company, retiring on June 30, 1988.
She was a volunteer at the Adler Theatre and the QC Tourism Group.
Her hobbies were traveling, playing cards, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis Boettcher (Sandy VanKirk), Mark (Peggi) Boettcher, and Barry (Deborah) Boettcher; her grandchildren, Jenni (Tom), Emerald (Jon), Brian (Ashley), Judy (Torian), Brian (Janelle), and Bryce; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilbur, Paul, William, Clara and Marjorie.
