A funeral service for Sue Ann Stoffers, 69, of Walcott, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 24 (today), from 5-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Stoffers died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Sue Jackson was born Jan. 28, 1948, in Davenport, the daughter of Ralph and Maxine (Tharp) Jackson.
She married David Stoffers Nov. 22, 1968, in Davenport.
She was employed at Central Petroleum in Walcott for eight years, retiring in 2004.
Her hobbies were sewing, bowling, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jon (Alicia) Stoffers, Fulshear, Texas; and her grandchildren, Anna and Jaxon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ramae Jessen.
Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or the Good Samaritan Society Home Care, Davenport.
