A memorial service for Shirley Mae Corbin, 84, of Davenport, was held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Monday at the church. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Corbin died Sunday, June 30, 2019.
Shirley Anderson was born April 24, 1935, in Chicago, the daughter of Harold and Elsie (Iverson) Anderson.
She married Jack Corbin on July 24, 1954, in Davenport.
Her hobbies were crocheting, playing cards with family and friends, cooking, baking, and raising poodles.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Jeff (Janell) Corbin, Jackie Corbin, Michael (Julie) Corbin, and Kathleen (Brent) Buttjer; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert (Linda) Anderson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Corbin; a brother, Harold Anderson; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Anderson and Yvonne Anderson.
