Sharon K. Payton, 71, Decatur, Ala., died Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at her home. No services are scheduled at this time. The Peck Funeral Home, Hartselle, Ala., is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born May 22, 1948, in Kentucky, the daughter of Carl and Lila (Gillans) Pullen.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Payton Sr., Somerville, Ala.; two daughters, Mickey (Dennis) Blake, Eldridge, and Tracy (Brad) Van Pelt, Noblesville, Ind.; two sons, Roger (Angela) Payton Jr., Maquoketa, and Bryan (Sarah) Payton, Donahue; 10 grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father; two sisters; and a brother.
