A funeral service for Phyllis Arlene (Heskett) Goldermann, 91, of Davenport, was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory, Davenport. Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery.
Mrs. Goldermann died Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at Silvercrest Senior Living, Davenport.
Phyllis Heskett was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Davenport, the daughter of Raymond and Anna (Nolte) Heskett. She attended Davenport schools.
She married Donald Goldermann on Aug. 1, 1947, in Davenport. He died Oct. 30, 2009.
She worked as a meat wrapper at National Tea and Randall’s Grocery in Davenport, retiring in 1982.
Her hobbies were gardening, fishing, metal detecting, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Pam (Daryl) Ahrens, Davenport, Dan Goldermann, Underwood, Minn., Judy (Marty) Martinez, Seguache, Colo., Gary (Kay) Goldermann, Erie, Colo., and Becky Kolleng, West Dundee, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Harold (Ardis) Heskett; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Joe) DuVerney; a daughter-in-law, Jan Goldermann; a son-in-law, Ed Kolleng; a grandson, Craig Goldermann; and a great-grandson, Brandon Mangels.
