Nancy Jo Powers, 69, of Davenport, died Sunday, June 9, 2019. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Nancy Nelson was born Oct. 20, 1949, in Davenport, the daughter of Vernon and Agnes (Broderick) Nelson.
She married John “Johnny” Powers in 1968.
She was employed at the Adler Theater.
She was a lifelong member of the Mississippi Valley Blues Society.
