A funeral service for Linda L. Groenbeck, 71, of Davenport, was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial was in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Groenbeck died Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Linda Iversen was born Jan. 9, 1948, in Davenport, the daughter of John and Helen (Russell) Iversen.
She married Jay Groenbeck on May 29, 1970, in Rock Island.
Her hobbies were cooking, listening to music, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; her daughters, Lisa (Michael) Norris, Jackie (Steve) Robinson, and Michell (Dave) Hansen; a son, Jay (Alisa) Groenbeck; her grandchildren, Christopher, Sa’Dee, Justin, Jay B., Brandon, Stephen, Zachary, Baylee, Evan, Nicholas, Darin, and Austin; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Celeste Iversen; and a brother, Sidney Iversen.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy.
Memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
