A funeral service for June Marie Strohbehn, 63, of Davenport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Interment will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Strohbehn died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.
June Moentenich was born June 30, 1954, in Davenport, the daughter of George and Mary (Fisk) Moentenich.
She married Gary Nass in 1975 in Davenport. They later divorced. She later married Donald Strohbehn in 1984 in Davenport.
She was a former bus driver for Head Start and worked at Casey’s General Store. She worked in housekeeping at Genesis West Medical Center prior to her retirement in 2003.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary – Rock Island Chapter 1303.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; her daughters, Brandy (Manuel) Rico, Waterloo, Tony Grahek, Green Bay, Wis., Michele Luther, Elizabethtown, Ky., Susan Embry, Conway, Ark., and Laura Strohbehn Comacho, Eldridge; a son, Chris Moentenich, Sparta, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Sadler, Rock Island; and a brother, Robert Moentenich, Potomic, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carol Bolton.
