A funeral service for Jacquella L. “Jackie” Robinson, 82, of Maysville, was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation was Monday, Sept. 10, from 5-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Robinson died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at her home.
Jacquella Freeze was born July 8, 1936, in Davenport, the daughter of Eldon and Blanche (Rasler) Freeze.
She married Thomas Robinson on April 16, 1964, in Rock Island.
She was employed as a nurse’s aid, and later retired from MA Ford Manufacturing Co., Davenport.
Her hobbies were gardening, collecting thimbles and giraffes, canning, baking cookies, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; her siblings, Arthur Freeze, Barbara Ann (Bill) Ernst, Sharon Anderson, Kenneth (Pat) Fetters, and Pauline Meier (Dick Epping); and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Fetters.
