A graveside service for Elayne (Fenske) Emmerich, 89, of Bettendorf, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet by 1:15 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport, to join the procession.
Mrs. Emmerich died Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Bettendorf Health Care Center.
Elayne Fenske was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Albert and Minnie (Majewski) Fenske.
She married Alden “Bud” Emmerich in 1952. He died in 1979.
She retired from the U.S. Department of the Army in 1986 with 30 years of service.
Her hobbies were volunteering, listening to music, and watching football.
Survivors include 13 nieces and nephews.
