A Celebration of Life service for Edward L. Marple, 64, of Pleasant Valley, will be held from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Sunrise Golf Course Clubhouse, Bettendorf. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Marple died Friday, March 13, 2020, at his home.
Edward Marple was born July 11, 1955, in Portsmouth, Va., the son of LeRoy (PWee) and Joyce (Fisher) Marple.
He married Jodi Ervin on May 20, 2017.
He worked as a contractor, repairing antenna towers, fencing, siding and numerous home repairs.
His hobbies were fishing, camping, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Shawn, Alexandria, La.; Jodi’s children, Jessie Gimm (John Rice), Anna (Cole) Kellett, and Pat (Amanda) Gimm; his grandchildren; his mother, Joyce; his sisters, Denise (Terry) Woolison and Janice (Troy) Durrant; and his brothers, Don (Laurie) Marple, Dennis (Pam) Marple, Dan (Shelli) Marple, and Kevin (Robbin) Marple.
He was preceded in death by his father.
