Dorothy I. Denison, 93, of Bettendorf, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2108, at Bettendorf Health Care. Per her wishes, cremation rights have been accorded. A graveside inurnment service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Dorothy Lewis was born May 17, 1925, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Winnifred (Tutor) Lewis.
She married Noble Denison on Oct. 15, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo.
Her hobbies were doing crossword puzzles and reading books, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Noble; children James (Patricia) Denison, Sarasota, Fla., Maryella (Donald) Wallace, Davenport, and Robert Dennison (Patti Smith), Paris, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
