A funeral service for Dorae Miller, 85, of Davenport, will be held at noon on Friday, June 28, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Mrs. Miller died Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Davenport Lutheran Home.
Dorae Stout was born June 24, 1933, in Montpelier, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Ethel (Reiling) Stout.
She married Robert Miller on May 28, 1955, in Davenport.
She retired from Republic Companies after more than 35 years of employment.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Marty Miller, Bettendorf, Daniel (Donna) Miller, Cypress, Texas, Lisa Miller, Davenport, and Tracy Miller, Seattle, Wash.; her grandchildren, Scott Miller, Samantha (Jonathon) Wilson, and Shannon Miller; a great-granddaughter; and a half-brother, Loren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Miller; and an infant sister, Barbara Jean.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to Davenport Lutheran Home.
