A funeral service for Denise Lynn Williamson, 64, of Davenport, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation was Friday, Aug. 31, from 5-7 p.m. at the mortuary, with additional visitation one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the mortuary.
Ms. Williamson died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at her home.
Denise Loving was born Aug. 27, 1953, in Davenport, the daughter of Buzz and Barbara (Kirk) Loving. She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1971.
She worked in various jobs, including as a cook at the Italian Village in Davenport, a driver-saleswoman for River King Food Service, and most recently as a customer service associate at Mid-American Energy.
Survivors include her children, Karen (Chad) Parsons and Eric Conner (Kara Eganhouse); her grandchildren, Chase Parsons, Malory Bluedorn, Corbin Eganhouse and Tyler Conner; a sister, Tammy (Jeff) Lafollette; and her brothers, Geoff (Vicki) Loving, Merle Loving, and Brett (Katrina) Loving.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to King’s Harvest Pet Shelter, Davenport, or the Scott County Humane Society.
