Catherine “Cathy” Bentley, 71, of Davenport, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private memorial will be held at a later date. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Catherine Bickett was born Feb. 5, 1947, in Buda, Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Theresa (Vowels) Bickett.
She married Gerald “Jerry” Bentley on Feb. 14, 1981. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Her hobbies were reading, playing cards, and traveling with her husband.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy (Angel) Vargas; her grandsons, Dominic and Lex; five sisters; four brothers; two stepdaughters; and a stepson.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, or to her grandsons’ education fund.
