Visitation for Carol Jean Purcell, 78, of Davenport, will be held from noon – 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Runge Mortuary. Graveside services will follow in Davenport Memorial Park.
Mrs. Purcell died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at her home.
Carol Pemberton was born Aug. 31, 1940, in Geneseo, Ill., the daughter of Albert and Ila (Cross) Pemberton.
She married Larry Purcell on May 18, 1985. He died Aug. 24, 2012.
She was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal. In earlier years, she worked as a bartender.
Her hobbies were spending time with family and friends, and watching television and sports.
Survivors include her children, Jace (Sarah) Morgan, Villisca, Iowa, and Crystal (Ken) Haldeman, Aurora, Colo.; her grandchildren, Jeramy, Jennifer, Katie and Dean; and four great-grandchildren.
