A funeral service for Brent Robert Shadden, 36, of Davenport, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 24, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was Sunday, June 23, from 3-5 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be at a later date.
Mr. Shadden died Monday, June 17, 2019.
Brent Shadden was born Sept. 22, 1982, in Iowa City, the son of Robert Shadden and Shelly (Docherty) Martin.
He married Heather Kernan on Aug. 28, 2010, in Bennett.
He was formerly employed at Modine Mfg. Co. in Washington, Iowa. in April of 2015, he and his wife moved back to the Quad Cities and opened their own business.
His hobbies were traveling, being outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; his children, Lucy, Caleb, and Blake; a stepson, Shawn; his parents, Shelly (Joe) Martin and Robert Shadden; his sisters, Paige Martin and Jessi Shadden; his brothers, Ryan (Katie) Shadden and Nick (Kayley) Martin; and his grandparents, Terry and Jeanne Docherty.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Rosemary Shadden.
Memorials may be made to the family for his children’s education.
