Obituary: Bradley Boyd

A Mass of Christian Burial for Bradley Thomas Boyd, 56, of Bettendorf, was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 20, from 2-4 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport, with additional visitation one hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Mr. Boyd died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, in Bettendorf.

Bradley Boyd was born Aug. 23, 1963, in Davenport, the son of Dennis and Ruthann (Stoltenberg) Boyd. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. 

He spent most of his professional life in the golf industry and later worked as a sales representative for Wayne Engineering (Curbtender) in Cedar Falls.

He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at UNI.

His hobbies were playing golf and hunting.

Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Ruthann Boyd, Bettendorf; his sisters, Bridget Boyd-Carlson, Davenport, and Beckette (David) Boyd-Hoover, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; and his nieces, Addie Carlson and Eleanor and Audrey Hoover.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
