A celebration of life service for Alan L. Geiger, 81, of Davenport, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary.
Mr. Geiger died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at his home.
Alan Geiger was born Dec. 29, 1938, in Davenport, the son of William and Maude (Daacon) Geiger.
He married Rosalie Lenninger on July 21, 1962, in Davenport. She died Feb. 22, 1997.
Survivors include his children, Mary (Dan) Moll, Arlington, Va., Douglas (Lois) Geiger, Houston, Texas, and Vickie (James) Odean, Davenport; his grandchildren, Luke Moll, Jake, Jack and Abby Odean, and Lois Geiger’s daughters, Francie and Amelia; and a sister, Sara (Chuck) Frick.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Geiger.
