Darla Fay credits Iowa’s Heritage farm program for nudging her to explore her own family’s history. Research for this year’s Heritage farm application revealed the Dixon Cemetery gravesite of the ancestors who bought the Scott County farm Dec. 28, 1872, that remains in her family today.
