Joyce Hess was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Moline. She married the late Roger Cornmesser on Sept. 14, 1963, in Moline.
She was a homemaker. She attends Northridge Community Church, and likes to traveling, fishing, gardening, watching movies, and reading.
She is the mother of Joy (Jeff) Whitmer of Eldridge, Judy (Scott) Hoag of DeWitt, and Steve (Bonnie) Cornmesser of Eldridge.
Her grandchildren are Alishia and Terry Osborne, Ashley and Zac Sibert, Samantha Yackle, Wesley Peer, and Kayleigh Cornmesser. She has five great-grandchildren.
