Janet and Larry Goettsch of Eldridge will celebrate their 80th birthdays with family.
Janet Lineburg was born June 15, 1938, in Davenport. Larry Goettsch was born June 23, 1938, in Davenport. They were married Feb. 8, 1964, in Tempe, Ariz.
Jan was employed by General Electric and East Iowa Train. Larry was employed at Farmall and the Iowa Department of Transportation. They also farm.
They enjoy farming and dancing. Jan also enjoys gardening, going to the Eldridge Fitness Center and being with family and friends, and Larry also enjoys collecting International tractors. They are the parents of Glen (Colette) Goettsch of Davenport, and Tina (Mike) Hasselbusch of Metamora, Ill. Their grandchildren are Zach Cain (fiancée Britnee Wilkins), Nathan Goettsch, Emily Hasselbusch (fiancé John), and Olivia Hasselbusch.
