March 5, 2014: With a thrilling 47-46 victory over Cedar Rapids Xavier, the North Scott girls’ basketball team earned a trip to the state tournament in a game played at Mount Vernon. Teammates Gina Percuoco, Karly Soy, Shelley Matthys and Karli Rucker mobbed Evan Hundley after she made the game-winning shot with time running out.
