Honor the sacrifices of the 'Greatest Generation'

I was born into a world at war. My dad, a young husband in his early 20s and father of two toddlers, served in the Navy during World War II. My mother, a young wife in her early 20s, served on the home front. She took care of my brother and me and worked at the Farmall Works, joining thousands of “Rosie the Riveters” working in factories to supply the war effort.
