Fair board will bring Sandyland to life: New children's play area will honor longtime fair volunteer

A children’s play and activity area planned for the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds will be named in memory of a rural Davenport woman who for years organized the popular make-and-take craft area on kids’ day during each Mississippi Valley Fair.
