Eldridge trims legal fireworks to three days: Ordinance intended to match hours of other communities

The Eldridge City Council voted Monday for tighter fireworks restrictions, trimming the state law’s 63-day legal period to July 3 and 4, and three and a half hours beginning New Year’s Eve.
