Eldridge allows first setback exemption

In less than 14 minutes, Eldridge granted its first rear yard setback exemption, capping a family’s year-long process to get Eldridge residents a smidge more room when adding onto their homes. Eldridge’s Board of Zoning Adjustment voted unanimously Dec. 13 to allow Eric and Maureen Gruenhagen to put an addition on their home at 172 W. Harvest St.
