A funeral service for Donna Charlene Nelson, 88, of Eldridge, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Private burial will be Monday, Jan. 6, in Rock Island National Cemetery.
Mrs. Nelson died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, the New Hope Presbyterian Food Pantry, or Mission Starfish Haiti.
