Clifford and Fay Claussen of Davenport will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a hog roast on Sept. 9. Friends and relatives may call from 12:30-6 p.m. at the Whispering Pines Shelter at Scott County Park. No gifts, please.
Fay Gonzales and Clifford Claussen were married Sept. 7, 1968, at First Presbyterian Church in Milan, Ill.
Mr. Claussen is employed at John Deere ADC Quad City Freight. Mrs. Claussen worked for the Davenport School District, retiring June 4, 2018.
Their children are Roger Claussen and Eric (Amber) Claussen, all of Dixon, and Jason Claussen of Davenport.
Their grandchildren are Craig Claussen, Miranda Claussen, Ashley (Quentin) Woods, Austin Claussen, Dylan Claussen, Tavian Claussen, and Noah Claussen. They have one great-granddaughter, Mila Woods.
