Butlett-Huber vows said Nov. 15 in Rock Island

Nicole Butlett of Eldridge and Jacob Huber of Bettendorf were united in marriage on Nov. 15, 2019, in an evening ceremony at Black Hawk State Historic Site, Watch Tower Lodge, Rock Island. The bride’s cousin, Brian C. Branstetter, officiated the 6:15 p.m. ceremony.

The bride’s sister, Samantha Sander, served as matron of honor. Alexandra Kertels, cousin of the bride, and Morgan Haight and Hannah Smith, both friends of the bride, were bridesmaids.

Dustin Looper, a close friend of the groom, served as best man. Lance DeShane, Alex Dickinson and Michael Youngs, all friends of the groom, were groomsmen. The bride’s nephew, Carter Sander, was ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Watch Tower Lodge.

Nicole is the daughter of Clint and Rita Butlett of Eldridge. She is a graduate of North Scott High School and Scott Community College. She is a financial services consultant for DuTrac Community Credit Union in Davenport.

Jacob is the son of Dave and Janet Huber of Bettendorf. He is a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School. He is an administrative coordinator for Compassion Counseling Inc. in Bettendorf.

The couple resides in Davenport.
