A BIG wave from John Glenn

Students at John Glenn Elementary in Donahue have joined "The Wave" craze at the University of Iowa. As part of the school's "Tribes" program, students in different grades meet with a teacher other than their classroom teacher to discuss ways they can make their community better. Last week they watched a video featuring Hawkeye football fans waving to patients at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, and then made handprint cards to send to the student patients.
