117.57 miles tops 24-Hour Run; Bettendorf woman sets USA Track and Field record

From Saturday morning until Sunday morning (May 4-5) 36 runners from nine states and Ontario, Canada, participated in the 38th annual running of the Cornbelt Running Club's 24-hour-race at the 400 meter track at North Scott High School. Runners competed to seek the most mileage in 24 hours. Ages ranged from 25 to 83, and it took 70 volunteers.
