Martha Pearce wins NSP Football Contest

Martha Pearce of Long Grove won the $50 first prize and and Karen McConnaha of Muscatine won the $25 second prize in Week No. 2 of The North Scott Press Football Contest. They were the only entrants who missed just two of 17 games. Pearce’s tiebreaker of 42 was closer to the 35 points in Iowa’s 18-17 win over Iowa State than McConnaha’s 26.
