The Auxiliary Unit of the Larry M. Gronewold American Legion Post in Donahue has chosen Lauren Wall to attend this year’s Girls State session. Lauren will join girls from all over the state on the campus of Drake University in Des Moines. The weeklong session is a learning-by-doing government experience from local to state levels. more
Every year, the American Legion Auxiliary sends girls that have completed their junior year in high school to Girls State, an inspirational, educational, fun and life-changing experience for young women.
