North Scott’s girls’ basketball team (19-3) entered the Class 4A state tournament riding a five-game winning streak and carrying the No. 2 seed. They were scheduled to take on seventh-seeded and eighth-ranked Denison-Schleswig (20-2) Tuesday in state tourney quarterfinal round action. more
Lost in the all the hoopla surrounding North Scott’s Class 4A girls’ basketball state championship run, were a bevy of individuals awards that landed several Lancers in the area spotlight. more
After coaching the Lancers to their second Class 4A state championship in three years with a 50-49 win over Marion in the March 2 championship game, TJ Case was named the All Iowa Girls Basketball Coach of the Year by The Des Moines Register in the Sunday, March 10 edition.  In the same edition, the Lancers' Grace Boffeli was named to the Class 4A first team all-state.     more
